A BRIGHT BEACON IN A DARK WORLD

Our Vision
To be a Bright Beacon in a Dark World
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. II Corinthians 4:6

Our Purpose
The Great Commandment "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind ... Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:37-40

The Great Commission
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20

Our Calling
We exalt the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in worship.
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:23-24

We embrace, love and care for believers.

"This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you." John 15:12

We equip believers through the study of Scriptures.
"Sanctify them in the truth; Thy Word is truth." John 17:17

We evangelize to share the light of Christ with those in darkness.
Jesus has come as light into the world that everyone who believes in Him may not remain in darkness.
John 12:46

We engage ourselves in the struggle for freedom from sin -- fear, oppression, hunger, and injustice -- through obedience to God's call in our world.
"Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16
